mix n match postcards

i picked some of my favorite art journal pages and made the pages into postcards.

the postcards are available in 2 different sizes- 6"x 4" or a 5.4"X 4.2".

the postcards have a matte finish and blank backs. the cards are intended to be a "mix and match" so grab a few.

you can use the postcards to send a note or cut the cards, punch a hole and make tags. the cards can be used in any of your mixed media projects.

the colors are playful and you can almost feel the texture on the card.

you can find the postcards in my etsy store.

happy sunday.

stencil love {postcards}

last week i participated in a postcard swap. the focus was on stencils and all work needed to be done using stencils......

so i layered up lots of stencil love to make each of these postcards.

i also decided that these postcards needed some gold ink and a little stitching....so hard to always stick to the exact instructions sometimes.....

#happymail {summer colds & postcards}

i don't know about you, but, i hate end of summer colds....and my love had been sick this last week. i was supportive- offering meds, kleenex, and cough drops; while trying to stay out of the way. i worked all week. all week. i am home for about an hour on friday, when the sneezing kicked in.

i, at this point, am telling myself that it is just my allergies kicking up.

but by saturday morning, my nose is running; but, still mostly under control. so, i found a few moments in the studio to make my postcards that need to go out today. by sunday however.....i am not fooling myself any longer....this is a darn end of summer cold that i have caught from my husband (who is still not 100% after a week.....).

so now i am going to have to bribe my son to take these to the post office for me to get them out on time so i don't contaminate anyone else as i not-enjoy my spot on the couch today because i am no longer contained.

wishing you health and no end of summer colds. happy monday.

postcards

a few of you had asked for a video and i was hoping to deliver.....although my editing skills are not exactly tip-top (clearly.....as this part took a long, frustrating while)- so you can imagine how disappointed i am when i was hoping to share my video this morning and let you watch my process- but after watching my video when it was posted to youtube and it was not good and i had to pull it....sorry.

i will have to try again.

love the pink and mix of collage and stamps.

i used Roben-Marie's Artpops cards again as the base and worked over the top with collage, paint and my new Dream Thicket stamps. both the cards and stamps are available at Paperbag Studios.

two-for-tuesday (postcards)

i have been so enjoying using Roben-Marie's Artpops cards to create my own postcards. the Artpops cards provide a jumping off point instead of starting with a blank white card- if you were to look close- there are hints of the original card underneath my layers.

the rubber stamps used in each are part of the dream thicket stamps of mine available at Paperbag Studios by Roben-Marie.

two-for-tuesday....happy tuesday!

thank you's.....

final step in this graduation process....the thank you! i made thank you postcards.

with matching envelopes!

i was using blank notecards that i trimmed to fit my envelopes. i sprayed them outside on the driveway. i actually lined up 6 cards underneath the stencil at a time.

this was the stencil i used, (which i love!).

these are the spray paint colors i used- ivy leaf and primer grey. i did a light spray with the ivy green just enough to get some color onto the cards and a little heavier with the grey to fill in more and give definition to the stencil. this gave the cards a variegated look that i liked. the final step was to stamp the "thank you" onto the front.
