you present a whole 'nother layer of creative issues to contend with.
- remove itsy-bitsy staple to open bag- check
- very carefully opened the bag to remove the tea without completely destroying bag- check
- gesso bag without tearing- no check; tear one huge hole and another small hole- drat
- use masking tape to repair- check
- glue down collage- mostly check; did require additional gluing
