new art journal post

bound with fabric and sewing, this art journal will soon be complete....

i got to play yesterday for just a bit and had gotten a new glimmer mist- the blueish, green through the middle and a new little stencil. i am really liking the new color. this pic is not doing the colors justice.

i like painting on paper because you can just cut out what your like and leave the rest. :) so the stapled very color piece is out of a failed watercolor painting of a pear. that painting didn't work when i used my "what if i did this?...." apparently i asked that question too many times, because at the end, i had had a good time, but, the painting was a disaster....oh, well, that when you get out the scissors and take the parts you like!
